Welcome to the PUBS website!
The PUBS (Pine Rivers Underground Brewing Society) Home brew club is a group of homebrewers and beer lovers who meet monthly to talk about beer and brewing. New members are always welcome. The meeting place will be generally held at the Beer Man’s shop in Petrie each month and you need not be a brewer to attend.

Members are from communities around SE Queensland particularly on the Northside of Brisbane. We welcome those who have never brewed, to those with a vast knowledge and many years of brewing.

Our intention is through the club, to educate and learn about the art of brewing beer, from kit brewing to full grain mash.

Amongst other activities planned for the year, we have a trip to the German Club, a crawl of good beer venues, several in-house brewing competitions and plus an annual trip to the State Championship dinner at Ipswich. We also have an annual xmas event often combining with the activities of other brew clubs in the area.

We seek to use the meetings as means of educating our members not only about brewing but also appreciating beer. Not all our members are brewers and therefore as well as full members we have a discounted social membership status that allows interested individuals and partners of brewers to participate club activities.

Further, we regularly hold mash brew days that provide opportunities to learn about the brewing process, provides beer for the meetings and provides additional opportunities for social occasions.
